PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR RETAINER FEE
This payment secures your RETAINER FEE for Family, Engagement, Maternity, Children, Seniors, or Newborn Sessions. (Excludes Weddings.)
By submitting your retainer, you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions. This payment constitutes a binding agreement between the Client and Cheryl Moore Photography & Design (hereafter referred to as "Photographer").
Session Agreement & Payment Terms
The retainer fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance, including but not limited to illness, weather, travel delays, or change of plans.
The retainer secures your session time and date and is applied toward the final cost of your session.
Retainer Fee Policy
In addition to reserving your scheduled session time, the retainer fee also covers pre-session administrative work such as consultation, communication, planning, and preparation. Once paid, your session is placed on the calendar and other inquiries for that time slot are declined. For this reason, the retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable, even in the event of cancellation.
The remaining balance is due in full at the conclusion of the session and should be paid by cash or check.
Returned checks are subject to a $35 service fee.
Session Time & Tardiness
Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time, regardless of client tardiness or lack of preparation.
Additional time may be purchased in 15-minute increments at $25 each, subject to the photographer’s availability.
Photographer is not responsible for lost time due to forgotten items, uncooperative subjects, or multiple outfit changes.
Travel time between locations and outfit changes count toward your total session time.
If a client is more than 15 minutes late without communication, the Photographer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the session without refund.
Session Add-ons & Location Policies
If more individuals are photographed than originally scheduled, a $25 fee per additional person applies to cover session time and editing.
Clients who request specific shoot locations are responsible for:
Any access/permit/parking fees
Securing permission or permits required to photograph at that location.
Photographer’s Rights & Client Conduct
The Photographer is not responsible if the client or any key participants are uncooperative, unwilling, or fail to appear for the session.
No other cameras (including cell phones or video) may be used during the session unless permission is given by the Photographer.
The Photographer may request to adjust the session time for best lighting or due to inclement weather.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather at the Photographer’s discretion.
If the Photographer is unable to perform the session due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen events, the session will be rescheduled in good faith or the retainer may be refunded at the Photographer's discretion.
